    H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Must Take the blame for Wasteful and Worthless Presidential Tour of the Central Region

    *For Immediate Release

    From: Central Region NDCTo:

    All Media HousesDate : October 20, 2021

The Central Regional NDC has taken notice of a two-day profligate and wasteful Presidential visit by HE. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo which started from Monday, 18th October, 2021 and ended on 19th October, 2021.

Whiles we appreciate the President of the Republic for the visit to our Region, we believe his coming has been a bewildered, spontaneous and reactive one needlessly occasioned by the rousing welcome which greeted John Dramani Mahama during his “Thank You Your” of the Region on Friday, 15th October 2021.

The politically expedient tour which has brought humiliation to the President is incontrovertible in the last minute negotiation by Hon. Alan Kyeremateng with K.T Investment Company Ltd, a Chinese lubricant factory at Gomoa Akotsi in order to rebrand and classify it under 1D1F initiative to score undeserving and unmerited political points in the Gomoa East District. This act of sheer deception and bad faith must not be countenanced by a leader who must demonstrate candour and high levels of integrity as expected of his office.Obviously, Nana Addo’s government substandard performance so far has reflected in the cold reception the good people of Central Region accorded him.

This is an ample testament to why he could not muster the courage to speak on infrastructure after President Mahama threw a challenge to him on project accountability debate. It is the height of embarrassment that whiles President John Mahama could tout his achievements in the form of transformational project he delivered during his media engagement with Cape Fm which was synchronized across the region, President Akuffo Addo though in his second term is still inspecting and cutting sod for piecemeal projects.

We are not surprised to hear from the President that Komenda Sugar Factory will work again whiles he could not go there to assess the state of dilapidation. He has soon forgotten he came to tell us he has given approval for strategic investor to take over the factory, since 4th June, 2020 and now we are being told that, the so-called strategic investor, Park Agrotech Ghana Limited could not fulfill the conditions hence, the government is discontinuing with the arrangement. It is incontestable that President Akuffo Addo have deliberately refused to access the $24.5 million meant for the production of sugarcane because they have no intention to operationalize the factory.Where is the commitment of President Akuffo Addo if indeed he mean well for the people of Central Region?.

It’s also shocking to note that, HE Nana Akufo Addo could look into the face of the people of Central Region as a whole and Cape Coast in particular to state that he didn’t promise us a harbour. We want to know whether HE. Nana Akuffo Addo is running a parallel administration with his Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia or they belong to the same administration? Stemming from the fact that on 22nd August 2020, HE. Dr. Bawumia promised orally “The Central Regional capital of Cape Coast will for the first time see the construction of a harbour and an airport”.

It was a clear promise from the governing New Patriotic Party to the people of Central Region that should they be given the mandate to run the affairs of the country for another four- year term that infrastructure will be given to the region. Again, we refer HE. Nana Akufo Addo to the NPP’s 2020 Manifesto, which captures this famous deceitful promise in page 160, part 4 line 6. Though, we are dismayed about this blatant denial of sacrosanct promise, it is indisputable that deception has become the hallmark of HE. Nana Addo/Bawumia’s government. We want to assure him and his NPP party that they will pay dearly for deceiving us in the next general elections.Again, in Assin South President Akufo Addo did sod-cutting for the construction of the Nyankomasi Ahenkro – Assin Jakai road.

It is a matter of fact that this particular road has been captured on their infrastructure delivery tracker as having been constructed. Also, Hon Ntim Fourduor, MP for Assin South Constituency, has on a number of occasions said on national platforms that he has constructed this same stretch of road and touts it as part of his achievements. So why the sod cutting again? The most bizzare spectacle was Presidential convoy of over 45 Toyota Land Cruisers which came with the HE. Akuffo Addo to commission a CHPS Compound, a Community Police Station, Community Centre, a school library, and a decorated Traffic Light intersection which was first initiated by the former Member of Parliament, Hon. Mike Hammah.

The unforgettable blunder was the renaming and recommissioning of the Winneba roundabout now reconciliation roundabout, with a statue of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and J.B. Danquah exchanging pleasantries, which obviously indicates the President’s lack of appreciation of Ghana’s history. The question is when did Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and J.B. Danquah met in our history in Winneba to warrant the naming of the so-called “reconciliation roundabout”. This reveals their treachery and hoodwinking attitude of the Nana Addo led NPP. The truth of the matter is, like his numerous failed promises he has made over the years and across the country, the people in the area, and for that matter Assin South Disstrict do not believe the president’s promise to construct the road. This in our view is an insult to the conscience and sensitivity of the good people of Central Region as we expected government to have demonstrated integrity in delivering its appetizing campaign promises.

It suffices to add that a non performing and incompetent President is the one who comes to important regional capital like Cape Coast to inspect engineering laboratories and workshops being constructed by the Ministry of Education despite unsustainable debt hole his government has plunged the country into and it resultant unbearable economic hardships on suffering Ghanaians through imposition of needless taxes.

It is clear the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government is bereft of developmental projects as urine has evaded the proverbial chicken and must take the blame for the wasteful and worthless Presidential tour of the Central Region.Signed Lawrence Kwesi Ghartey DRCO.

  • Celebrity Lifestyles And Mental Illness The Case Of Funny Face.

Celebrity Lifestyles And Mental Illness The Case Of Funny Face.

    Open Letter to Celebrities.

In Africa, for that matter Ghana, one’s lifestyle as a celebrity is centred on “Social media Likes, Comments and Shares” also, how they trend . In order to adapt to such social media norms, celebrities tend to engage in anything abnormal eg naked exposure of private parts, pranking, abuse of drugs, show off with one’s luxuries and how many sexual intercourse they have , how they slept with big men to gain or how many abortions they did etc.

Some even went to the extent of saying they slept with dogs just to get monies. How insane.

Excessive competition among celebrities, unrealistic ambitions , measuring achievement in numbers produced and dollars (monies) ,the need for me to win and trend more mentality has exposed many to Mental Illnesses.

There are many celebrities today who have outlived their usefulness but fighting hard to be in the media thereby engaging in all sorts of activities to trend . They get depressed, or abuse Psychoactive Substances and engage in unnecessary and uncouth social media banters with one another when not meeting their expected trends .

My professional advice to our celebrities though I am not a fan of any, that they should seek Mental Health and Psychological helps often if they want to succeed in their industry without involving in foolish stuffs .

Your Mental Health will go a long way to have positive impact on your career, and once you are in stable state of mind, you will survive long without being faded off within shortest possible time.

Use your fame, social media handles to encourage prioritisation of MENTAL HEALTH in the country so you can equally get best therapies when the need be.
Today it is Funny Face, Abena korkor and others, tommorow it can be you.

Don’t let your quest to be famous lead you into criminal stuffs that will rather destroy you.
Avoid abusing drugs and be yourself.
Self esteem and confidence is built not through substance uses but by continous practice and believing in oneself.
You can be a great celebrity, famous , achiever not by engaging in Anti-Social Activities ( Patterns of irresponsibility, disregards for rights of orders, vandalism, substance abuse, fist fights, verbal attacks, weapon use, cruelty , sexual aggression, recklessness etc ) just to seek immediately gratification.

I wish you all well in your careers that are decent and impact the nation positively not those that gives us negative influences.

  • The Irony of UN in Supporting LGBTQ+++ Community Yet Pushing for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Case of No Conscience

The Irony of UN in Supporting LGBTQ+++ Community Yet Pushing for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Case of No Conscience

Open Letter to :- UNITED NATION (UN).

Indeed, HIGHER CERTIFICATES without the Fear of God is equal to confusion, foolishness, evil mindset and Pride with dead conscience. We are aware main sponsors of LGBTQ++ Community are UN, EU and their individuals evil wealths through looting of African natural resources.

If the UN is truly talking about sustainability and development of the universe, is it not mind boggling to see same biggest organisation supporting a group of insignificant minority to inhibit procreation?*The below is what SDGs talks about:The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”.

The SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030. They are included in a UN Resolution called the 2030 Agenda or what is colloquially known as Agenda 2030. The SDGs were developed in the Post-2015 Development Agenda as the future global development framework to succeed the Millennium Development Goals which ended in 2015.

The 17 SDGs are: (1) No Poverty, (2) Zero Hunger, (3) Good Health and Well-being, (4) Quality Education, (5) Gender Equality, (6) Clean Water and Sanitation, (7) Affordable and Clean Energy, (8) Decent Work and Economic Growth, (9) Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, (10) Reducing Inequality, (11) Sustainable Cities and Communities, (12) Responsible Consumption and Production, (13) Climate Action, (14) Life Below Water, (15) Life On Land, (16) Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, (17) Partnerships for the Goals. The above SDGs talk about sustainability and progress .

Now let us take some of the GOALS and see how supporting LGBTQ+++ Activities will help achieve some them*.

Goals:1. No Poverty:- What benefits will LGBTQ+++ practices bring into ensuring there is no Poverty in the World? . Most of the LGBTQ+++ are known for party ,party after party which reduces working hours and lead to low productivity. Some become incapacitated after acquiring chronic and infections diseases.

    3. Good Health and Well being:- It is universally discovered by the WHO that HIV is prevalent among LGBTQ+++ practitioners. Also, they are known for spreading the virus to their victims. We know the internal and external sphincters at the anus when pressurised for long leads to Anal Prolapse and it is common among Gays and it leads to running anus with faecal maters. Anal sex leads to cancers and it is common among the homosexuals .

So the question is, what Good Health and Well Being does UN SDG 3 stands for if they are supporting the LGBTQ nonsense to be legalized so such sicknesses will be deviling our communities especially along the vulnerable ones who don’t have the financial strength to purchasing Pampers and drugs for life till they die?.

    4. Quality Education:- How quality will our educations be when we are accepting that the abnormals should be normals? . Does it make sense to you UN? What becomes of the future of our educational system since your focus is on children seeing them opposite of who they are born to be?

    6. Clean Water and Sanitation :- How clean will our water bodies be when homosexuals with running anus will be swimming in our beaches and pools to contaminate them? Are we not encouraging thyphoid and Cholera outbreaks since our water bodies will no longer be free from human faeces ? The mode of spread is Orofoecal and you can’t swim in pools and beaches without one drinking some of the waters.

    13. Climate Actions:- WHO, UN have been spending huge sums of dollars on our climate changes so lives can be preserved since Oxygen and CO2 balances becoming dangerous to lives. Now, in one angle you are trying to preserve lives to sustain the universe but in another, you supporting homosexuals to inhibit procreation to destroy humanity? Does it make sense to you ? Who are your scientists and anthropologists ?

    15. Life on Land:- How do you intend increasing lives on land when you are Against the only way that brings lives and procreation by choosing LGBTQ Activities?

    16. Peace ,Justice and Strong Institutions:- How do you intend ensuring peace when you are supporting LGBTQ+++ community imposing their Mental Sexual Disorders on nations whose religious, cultural, moral and societal norms frown of their abominable activities? You talking about Justice and Strong Institutions yet you have been using your powers and influence to frustrating Institutions that are against your evil decisions to legalise the sexual Disorder on other countries?

In conclusion, juxtaposing your own SDGs and support for LGBTQ+++ community, one must come to a clear conclusion that the UN and WHO is confused in THEIR own decisions . You are living opposite to the SDGs by supporting what will not help achieve your goals .

I therefore call on you and the discerning voices to condemn the activities of LGBTQ imposition on African countries, that matter , Ghana. We are highly against LGBTQ+++ Activities in our country since every aspect of our culture, religion, societal norms don’t recognize their abominable stuffs.

Government payroll is full, 60% of revenue paying 650,000 people – Ofori-Atta

The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, has informed the 2021 graduating class of the University of Professional Studies-Accra (UPSA) that the government’s payroll is full – making it unsustainable to keep adding to employment figures in the public sector, hence the need to create their own jobs.

According to him, the government’s role is to create the needed enabling environment, establish micro-stability and ensure that citizens have the right skill set – and that is what the government is going to do: focus on the youth and budget for their demands.

“The future for you in regard to jobs is the most important thing for you at this stage, and we have gone through a period when most people look for a job from government or state institutions, but that payroll is full.

“I can tell you that because we are spending about 60 percent of our revenue on renumerating some 650,000 people, and that is not sustainable,” he said.

The finance minister further indicated that entrepreneurship, skillset, and credit are the important things needed in the mix to ensure sustainability for the youth and offer them an opportunity to create their own path to wealth.

Dr Arthur Kobina Kennedy SEE ALSO: Some MPs have been denied visas, warned to stay away from anti-gay bill

According to the minister, education is a ladder to social mobility as well as economic and social prosperity, offering beneficiaries the opportunity to help society – adding that it is important for the graduates to acknowledge the privilege of accessing four years of tertiary education and do their best to impact society through the transformation and renewal of their minds.

Chief Executive-Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr. K.K. Sarpong, in his address at the graduation ceremony, emphasized that it is important for the graduates to acquire 21st-century skills and core competencies which will enhance their employability and advancement in career.

He emphasised that, currently, industries search for graduates who have more than a university degree, as they consider life-skills such as creativity, innovation, critical-thinking, collaboration, teamwork, communication, empathy and digital literacy, among others, as essential skills for effective individual performance.

“These life-skills underpin the abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that aids in dealing effectively with the challenges of everyday life, particularly work. It is therefore important that graduates acquire life-skills as mentioned,” he said.

    ken ofori attah

Dr. K.K. Sarpong further singled out digital literacy and indicated that this is an era of digitisation wherein automation, artificial intelligence and the use of software has dominated the delivery of accounting and financial services, hence the need for them to equip themselves with these skills to stay relevant on the job market.

He further stated that outsourcing of functions such as procurement, payroll, taxation, pensions and benefits, recruitment and training has become a new normal under COVID-19, hence the need for them to respond swiftly to that trend.

“I encourage you to set up your own firms to tap into the growing outsourced financial and business services. Be entrepreneurial, for your training here has given you what it takes to do that,” he said.

The Vice-Chancellor of UPSA, Prof. Abednego F.O. Amartey, indicated that for the 2020/2021 cohort UPSA is graduating a total of 3,640 students – comprising 793 postgraduates, 2,054 undergraduates and 793 diploma students.

He entreated them to be worthy ambassadors of the school, exhibiting the values and tenets imbibed in them.

“As a marketer, my parting words to you are remember these four Ps – be positive, principled, proactive and productive,” he said.

Speaking on the announcement of the reopening of the stations in an interview on the News 360 on TV3 Tuesday, October 12, Sam George said “This is welcoming news, we are grateful to the new board of the NCA for carrying through what has been four years of agony for the owners of the radio stations and their staff.

“The bottom line is that the independent of the media has triumph today.”

The Governing Board of the NCA has approved the grant of a total of One Hundred and Thirty Three (133) FM radio broadcasting authorisations which include new applications from entities whose FM radio stations were closed down after the 2017 FM Audit as well as existing stations which applied for renewal of their expired FM Radio broadcasting authorisations.

The approval was done at a Board meeting held on 11th October 2021.

A statement issued by the NCA on Tuesday, October 12 said this approval from the Board is subject to the applicants attending a sensitisation workshop on the terms and conditions of FM radio broadcasting authorisations.

“The workshop shall clarify the legal, regulatory, and technical requirements for the establishment and operation of an FM Radio Broadcasting station.

“Provisional authorisations shall be issued to the successful applicants at the end of the workshop and frequencies shall be assigned to the applicants only upon the fulfillment of the conditions of the Provisional Authorisation.

“The general public is reminded that per Section 2(4) of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008, Act 775, a person shall not operate a broadcasting system or provide a broadcasting service without a frequency authorisation by the Authority.

“Offenders are liable on summary conviction to a fine of not more than three thousand penalty units or to a term of imprisonment of not more than five years or to both, as per Section 73 of Act 775 of 2008.”

The NCA shut down Radio Gold and Radio XYZ, and several others.

A statement issued by the NCA in Accra on May 9, 2019, said the closures were carried out in line with Regulations 65 (1) of the Electronic Communications Regulations, 2011, L. I. 1991, which states that “A person shall not use a radio frequency without authorisation from the Authority.”

Referring to a 2018 ruling by the Electronic Communications Tribunal on the status of FM stations with expired authorisation, the NCA said “Companies whose authorisations had expired reverted to the same position as a fresh applicant,” adding that “these applications shall go through the required procedure for new FM Broadcasting Authorisation.”

The regulator did not mention the two stations, implying that it was a general exercise.  However, only Radio XYZ and Radio Gold have been closed so far. Officials of the NCA, backed by armed police officers, stormed the premises of the radio stations to enforce the shutdown in the afternoon of May 9.

This is the second time in less than two years that the regulator has flexed its muscles against “defaulting stations.” In September, 2017, the NCA carried out a massive purge of the broadcasting industry that saw a total of 34 radio and television stations being shut down for various infractions, in enforcement of Section 13 of the Electronics Communications Act (2009), Act 775.

The regulator also imposed fines on a number of stations ranging from GHC50,000 (US$11,000) to GHC61,000,000 (US$13.8 million) depending on the infraction and the duration the infraction persisted.

Some MPs have been denied visas, warned to stay away from anti-gay bill – Arthur K

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) based in the United States, Dr Arthur Kobina Kennedy, has said some Members of Parliament have been denied visas and warned to stay away from the anti-gay bill which is currently before Parliament.

He said it is sad that “this intimidation is coming mainly from the Western diplomatic community.”

The Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill was laid in the House on Monday, August 2 and read for the first time.

Reading for the first time, a clerk in the legislative assembly stated that the Bill proscribes lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) and other related activities and propaganda or advocacy and promotion for same.

It also came to light that it supports protection for children and persons who are victims or accused of homosexuality.

Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah Amoako referred the Bill to the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Committee for consideration.

“For the first time, it is referred to the Committee on Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs for consideration and report,” Mr Asiamah Amoako, who is also the MP for Fomena, directed.

SEE ALSO: Ayawaso by-election incident: Stop the ‘hypocritical attitude

The controversial anti-gay bill has already divided opinion in the Ghanaian public discourse.

While some, particularly the religious and traditional groupings, have supported the Bill and hopeful of its passing, others say it could incur the wrath of the international community against Ghana.

Commenting on this development in a statement, Dr Arthur Kennedy said ” My goal today, is not to opine on the merits of the bill. Indeed, I wish, in the words of the sages, we had “allowed sleeping dogs to lie”. The homosexual community, in my view, were doing fine, in their private spaces, subject to the protections of the law accorded to all citizens.

“Unfortunately, the opposition to the bill, motivated by the noble desire to promote tolerance for our homosexual community, has been characterized by intolerance.

” Some lawmakers, including the bill’s sponsor, Sam George have been threatened publicly and privately. Calls have been made to the Speaker, threatening MPs. Some have been denied visas and warned to stay away from this issue. It is sad that this intimidation is coming mainly from the Western diplomatic community.”

    Below is his full statement…

TOLERANCE AND THE DEBATE ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY IN GHANA

The pending legislation about homosexuality in Ghana has led to unfortunate manifestations of intolerance. Parliament is considering a bill that would criminalize certain aspects of homosexual conduct in Ghana.

In response, significant segments of the community, including Christian, Muslim and traditional authorities have offered support. On the other hand, there is an impressive array of intellectuals and government officials who are opposing the proposed bill. Indeed, a significant part of the diplomatic community too, has weighed in, to oppose the bill.

My goal today, is not to opine on the merits of the bill. Indeed, I wish, in the words of the sages, we had “allowed sleeping dogs to lie”. The homosexual community, in my view, were doing fine, in their private spaces, subject to the protections of the law accorded to all citizens.

Unfortunately, the opposition to the bill, motivated by the noble desire to promote tolerance for our homosexual community, has been characterized by intolerance.

Some lawmakers, including the bill’s sponsor, Sam George have been threatened publicly and privately. Calls have been made to the Speaker, threatening MPs. Some have been denied visas and warned to stay away from this issue. It is sad that this intimidation is coming mainly from the Western diplomatic community.

In addition to democracy and the rule of law, the West exemplifies, to the eternal admiration of people like me, the attitude of tolerance. It is at the heart of multi-party democracy and the support of minority rights etc that make the West such a powerful example to the rest of the world.

As JFK put it, “Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one’s own beliefs. Rather, it condemns the oppression or persecution of others.”.

The West argued that dealing with China and Russia was better that isolating them. The West insisted on constructive engagement with Apartheid South Africa while we beat War drums. They were right.. Let us not fight intolerance with intolerance.

The next time there is an election dispute or tribal fighting and the West comes preaching tolerance, it would help if opportunists cannot remind us of Western intolerance!

The problem of this bill is not the Parliament. It is reflecting public opinion. Let us continue to educate the public.

Finally, to Parliament, continue this new attitude, by championing the interest of the public for Healthcare, jobs and for fighting the canker of corruption.

Long live tolerance. Long live Ghana. Arthur Kobina Kennedy.

Akufo-Addo is one of the wisest in the world, a great erudite – Serbian President

“I learnt so many things from my friend, the President of Ghana, today speaking about world power. We completely share some positions about the necessity of the countries that need to co-operate in the independent sovereign, to make their own decisions independently…I fully agree he is one of the wisest men, one of the great erudite one can learn so many things from.”

These were the words of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on Monday, 11th October 2021, when he held bilateral talks with President Nana Akufo-Addo, on the sidelines of the ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

At the press conference, the Serbian leader indicated that Ghana and Serbia have pledged to build closer ties, and deepen the ties of friendship and the bonds of co-operation between the two countries, with the two nations resolving to co-operate in the areas of agriculture, defence, artificial intelligence and digitilisation, education, and the growth of their respective economies.

Touching on the areas of co-operation between the two countries, which include an increase in bilateral trade and the doubling of Serbian scholarship opportunities to Ghanaian students from 16 to 32, President Akufo-Addo stated that “we (in Ghana) know the important strides that you (Serbia) have taken in the world of digitalisation, as well as in artificial intelligence, and my understanding is that the majority of the young people who will come from Ghana will be in this area. I think it will be something that will be truly beneficial to our country.”

The President reinforced the necessity for such closer ties of co-operation between countries belonging to the Non-Aligned Movement, and the urgent need to deepen the bonds between Ghana and Serbia and, indeed, for smaller, like-minded states.

“The recent example about the use and deployment of vaccines has shown us an ugly aspect of international cooperation. There are people who hoarded samples and made it impossible for others to be able to have access. I think these are areas where the co-operation between countries like ours could have a very significant impact on the way in which the world develops,” he said.

The President continued that, “there is hopefully a bright future ahead especially between the two countries that see eye-to-eye on so many important issues of the International agenda; the most important being the urgent need for all of us to be able to drive our own agenda, and not be the subject of anybody’s interests or wishes.”

On Ghana’s election onto the Security Council membership, President Akufo-Akufo thanked Serbia for the support of Ghana’s candidature, adding that “whilst there, our contribution will help improve the climate of the world and bring more positive developments on the global agenda. We count very much on Serbia assisting us in the manner in which you have indicated in your remarks so that we can produce good results from our membership there.”

He also expressed deep concerns about security in Africa, saying “the Jihadist insurrection and terrorist activities in West Africa are a matter of great concern to us, and there are areas where we believe we can beneficially cooperate with your country, with other like-minded countries, to find solutions. They are matters of very great concern to the stability of our region.”

    Akufo-Addo-in-Serbia-1-1024x646

On his part, President Vucic said, “I learnt so many things from my friend President of Ghana today speaking about world power and I fully agree he is one of the wisest men, one of the great eulogists one can learn so many things from as one of the great successors of the politics of such a great person as Nkrumah was.”

President Aleksandar Vučić thanked President Akufo-Addo and Ghana for the position taken regarding the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, stressing that such a position is appreciated and respected by the people of Serbia.

“You know that in politics and international relations, nothing lasts shorter than gratitude but you will see when it comes to Serbia, we are incomparably, more loyal to our friends than many others and we will be able to return in the same manner of responsibility,” he said.

The Serbian leader continued, “We offer our construction companies if the people of Ghana are interested, and we are ready to buy tropical fruits and many other products from Ghana if they are interested.

“Generally speaking, politically wise, not that we have no problems, but we understand each other very very well, but we must work to talk to each other more often, to see each other more often, and to have more frequent contact and to act together in the international scenes.”

Sam George clashes with CNN journalist on HIV infected gays, dev’t of Ningo-Prampram

It was a fierce exchange of words between lawmaker for Ningo-Prampram Sam George and CNN Journalist Larry Modowo on the Anti-LGBTQI Bill before Ghana’s parliament.

What started with a normal tone appeared to have heated up following the line of questioning by the Kenyan Journalist who himself is gay by trying to suggest that the National Democratic Congress(NDC) was pursuing an agenda that does not factor in the development of his constituents.

The outspoken Ghanaian lawmaker had revealed that he received the blessings of his constituents and two traditional areas in the fight against the LGBTQI in Ghana’s legislature

“I am a Ghanaian legislator and so that you know I represent a constituency or community with two traditional areas. Before agreeing to push this bill I met with my two traditional councils…I am a representative of the people who voted for me, the traditional councils who voted for me say this is against our culture”

But Larry Modowo who confirmed his gay status on his 43rd birthday angered Sam George when he asked “The people who voted for you in your constituency of all the problems they have is this the major problem for them?

But in a subtle jab to responded “ Well, this is one of the major issues for them. The government of Ghana in 2020 spent two hundred million dollars subsidizing the cost of ant-retroviral drugs for persons who are HIV/AIDS. The Ghana AIDS Commission is telling us that Men having Sex with Men(MSM), homosexuals are leading the surge in HIV prevalence in Ghana. Two hundred million dollars could have fixed the water problems in my constituency.”
