The National Artisans Association of Ghana & Chamber of Construction  Industries workers across the country say they will embark on a massive demonstration coming Friday 30th August- 19 to demand payment of monies owed them by the government.

According to the Artisans National President Mr. Gideon, Bidor said, the government owes them over five hundred million Ghana cedis spanning a period of six months.


The Ministry of Finance has delayed the payment, a situation he says is crippling their businesses since most of them go for loans to pre-finance the projects.

“We will move to the presidency, that is the Flagstaff House. If Finance Minister Refuses to pay us by Friday 30th.

“we will go to President House and tell him that banks are chasing us,

Finally; Mr. Bidor. hinted that members are thinking of locking up various project sites across the country.
