Demolishing without Notice is Unfair- Dr. Prince Aboagye

    Demolishing

The plan to make critical decisions and actions to stabilize and reorganize systems is now, according to a senior lecturer at the department of planning at the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology, Dr. Prince Aboagye Anokye will help in moving the country in the right direction and achieve what it aims at achieving.

Speaking to GBC news on the issue concerning the demolishing of unauthorized structures along roads in the country, Dr. Anokye says if the exercises are legally carried out without consideration or notice to those involved then they are not moving in the right direction. He emphasized that if care is not taken they may go out of order.

    Demolishing

He continued to say that in as much as we are doing all this to develop the country, it is very important to do it the right way by following the right processes such as giving ample time for people that might be affected to move their things, and they should be a system to involve people at the grassroots level to also bring their opinion as to what they want the government to do for them as they are being thrown out of their houses.

He further explained that though it is true that where these houses belong to the government and sometimes we use illegal means to get legal things, we should not forget also that we are working in the context of international teams and must watch carefully all that happens around us. He says whatever the government gets involved with one way or the other affects the country as a whole, that is why he is much concerned about this demolishing without notice policy.
