Why Shatta Wale Refused to Battle Stonebwoy During The Freestyle Session At Asaase Sound Clash

The much-anticipated clash between unarguably two of Ghana’s finest Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy dubbed Asaase Sound Clash occurred over the weekend which was received with mixed reactions. The duel was put together by Accra-based urban radio station, Assase Radio to put to rest the age-long debate as to who is the greatest between the two.

Hit songs from both artistes were played back to back as they all took turns to entertain the crowd for several minutes. However, according to the report we picked, there was supposed to be a freestyle session between the two so we could determine who is the real deal. That is basically what the concept of the clash entails but surprisingly the SM boss backed out.

Shatta Wale reportedly absconded the venue with his entourage much to the shock of everyone which was contrary to was premeditated. Insiders say Wale was afraid he could be floored by his rival since he’s not considered a good freestyler.

“Shatta Wale worth more than GH¢2 million” – Bulldog reacts to alleged over-payment by government

Manager of Shatta Wale, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, also known as Bulldog, says his artiste is worth more than the GHS2 million he allegedly received from the Ghana Exim Bank for an ambassadorial role.

Reacting to the news in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Citi FM, Bulldog said Shatta Wale would have charged more than the figure been thrown about if the news was true.

“If I was in charge of accounts, I would have charged more because he deserves it. I believe every Ghanaian artiste deserves more. The entertainment industry and creative people in Ghana have been downplayed for a very long time,” he said

His response was in relation to whether Shatta Wale was worth the amount he is alleged to have been paid to serve as an ambassador for made in Ghana products; a move being championed by the bank.

Bulldog has also confirmed that there is an agreement between his artiste and Exim Bank. He noted that the contractual agreement signed a few weeks ago has already commenced. The deal first came to the fore during Parliament’s ongoing Public Accounts Committee (PAC) sittings.

No One Should Use My Picture Or My Brand On Any Political Campaign Or Platforms- Shatta Wale Warns

As the 2020 general elections are almost here, political parties will not stop at anything than try to convince the masses with influential celebrities in the country and their songs should there be any.

Shatta Wale seems to have made a U-turn in politics as his latest post on social media suggests that moving forward, no one should use his picture or brand on any political campaign or platform.

We know Shatta Wale to be a strong NDC supporter because of his dad’s affiliation with the party and also he is someone the sitting president Nana Akuffo Addo loves hence it looks like Shatta is stuck in the middle.

Now, he knows for a fact that any of these two main political parties will definitely use his songs for campaign following his affiliation with them hence he has come out to emphatically state that no one should use his songs going forward. This will surely force the political parties to approach him formally to perform at their campaign grounds should they need to use his songs which can make him earn some ‘fat’ money.

This is a great business decision by Shatta Wale and his team; this guy understands the business very well. He probably also has his own reasons for posting that.
