    Man Cages Wife For Over Three Years After Accusing Her Of Being A Witch

    A man whose name was identified as Ame Edjeket,41 years of age has been arrested for caging his wife with whom he has eight children for over three years on the basis that she is a witch and responsible for all his misfortune.

    According to reports, the woman Gladys was said to have been kept in a room where she is not allowed to go out from instead she is made to urinate and got to private inside the same room where she was made to sleep.

    Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu who brought the case to the limelight stated that, the man got his wife pregnant three times while he caged her in the room.

    Ame when arrested by the police revealed that he decided to send her wife to the family after finding out she was a witch but her own family rejected her which lead to him keeping her in a room all by herself.

    The victim (Gladys) is currently receiving medical attention at the Orerokpe General hospital in Delta state which is in Nigeria.

    Ghanaian popular broadcaster, Abeiku Santana born Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana has disclosed how his friends tried to chase his wife fifteen years ago but didn’t succeed.


    He indicated that he got to know about his friend’s advances after he took his turn to express his feelings but fortunately won the heart of his wife.


    Speaking on Okay FM’s late afternoon show, he expressed that he met the wife when he had close from his show on Ash FM and relaxing with his cigarettes and a bottle of beer at Angloga junction.


    According to him, he saw her passing and called her to have a little chat with her but got himself mocked when he told his friends as they told him they have tried but she didn’t give them the opportunity.


    Abeiku Santana noted that after that he changed his strategy and as they went on their separate ways but they are now together.


    He added that he used to be a chain smoker who earlier finds it difficult to stay away from being high.
