Controversial comedienne and socialite has disclosed that she switched to new patriotic party (NPP) not because she was paid but because her brother was employed at the Jubilee House.
According to her, she was amazed at the gesture because in 2016, she vehemently campaigned against NPP but that was overlooked as her brother was engaged to work at the Jubilee House.
” I campaigned against the NPP Government but when they came into power, they employed my brother as a result, my mother get food to eat. So if u have a problem with where I stand in this election, pick a phone and call God. If am ugly, 2016 was more ugly than this”.
To her, she followed the NDC for five years with hunger and had to move on with her life because she couldn’t continue with the hunger.
” If am a hungry celebrity, it’s the NDC that has made me hungry. Before I joined you people I was working at Despite media and I was taking 10,00gh every month. While I was with you, you gave contract to women, did you give me some?”.
Afia said the NDC folks lack common sense in their dealing and attack her for choosing the NPP.
