It has been quite a start for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal since his was appointed to take over as first team manager following the departure of Unai Emery.
In a short span of time in charge of the gunners, Arteta has gone to win two trophies, the FA Cup and Community Shield, while in the process has also beat Chelsea, Liverpool twice and Manchester City to leave a good impression ahead of next season.
Outside the pitch, the Spaniard is performing brilliantly as well in matters transfers and has already signed Willian from Chelsea, Gabriel Megalhaes from Lille and is looking very much to return Deni Cabellos from Real Madrid for another year on loan.
Everything at the moment seems to be flowing the Spaniard’s way and to be fair to Arsenal, they very much needed a lift having had nightmare of seasons in the last 5 years.
On Friday, there was even more reason to smile for Arsenal fans after the club made some great announcement from the Premier League.
The nominees for the PFA young player of the season were listed and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka earned his place in the list alongside Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnorld, Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount while Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood represent Manchester United.
