Bawumia takes over Northern Region as he storms Tatale, Zabzugu and Saboba- 4 more 4 Nana

Ghanaians have less than 100 days to select their Presidential and Parliamentary candidates. Each political party is rounding up preparations to emerge victorious in the poll. This years’ poll will be one of a kind that would be deeply etched in the minds of Ghanaians.

It will be defined by the comparative performance of these two leaders and Ghanaians will choose between which of the four years they preferred most.

On September 3, 2020, Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia began a 10 day working visit to the northern region to pay courtesy call on Cheifs, opinion leaders and people in the region. He visited Overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Abukari II, Paramount Chief of the Mion Traditional Area, Muhammadu Abdulai III and other leaders to mark the beginning of his tour.

On one second day of his tour, he stopped at Tatale, Zabzugu and Saboba to pay courtesy call on the Paramount Chiefs and people.

Thousands of people poured out onto the streets to grace his arrival. He was given an ecstatic welcome with streets filled with crowd amidst joyous shouting and chanting “4 more 4 Nana” slogan. A crowd consisting of children, young adults and some aged stormed to catch a glimpse.

He used the opportunity to assure the Cheifs and people of the unrelenting commitment of the Akuffo Addo-led NPP government to providing more developments in the area and the northern part of Ghana in general.

He also reflected on some of the projects that have been commissioned by NPP in the area and how beneficial they have contributed to their lives.

The Chiefs, opinion leaders and the people indicated that they have received a fair share of President Akuffo Addo’s nationwide impactful interventions and that they good reasons to back the President’s bid for another term.
