  • Kingsmakers of Prampram Blames Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs for the Unending Bloodshed in Prampram

Kingsmakers of Prampram Blames Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs for the Unending Bloodshed in Prampram

The Elders of the three ruling gates of Prampram in the Greater Accra Region, being Abbey Doku Mansro We, Tetteh Djan Larbi Agbo We and Kwei  Opletu We have cited the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs for the incessant bloodshed  in Prampram.

In a statement by the Seitse of Prampram, Nuumo Osabu Abbey said despite the numerous cases against the embattled Paramount Chief of the area, Nene Tetteh Waka known in private life as Michael Quarcoopone has been imposed on them as Prampram Mantse.

According to the Seitse or Stool Father Nuumo Osabu Abbey, since the imposition of Nene Tetteh Waka on them, Prampram has witnessed a number of hired killings of which Nene Tetteh Waka has been mentioned as the main suspect. These killings, according to Nuumo Osabu Abbey, were all targeted at people who rose or rise against the rule of Nene Tetteh Waka.

Numo Osabu Abbey said, it is rather ridiculous that despite a number of cases before the Judicial Committee of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs against Nene Tetteh Waka, some which had the Osudoku Matse who is the President of the Regional House of Chiefs as the presiding Chair of one of such cases against Nene Waka, Nungua Mantse King Odaifio Welentsi who is the Vice President of the Regional House as the chair to the substantive case, the two maneuvered to see to the gazette Nene Waka at the National House level on the 22th December, 2021 even though a hearing notice for the substantive case against Nene Waka had been on served on the 28th November, 2021 but they the plaintiff refused to appear.

According to Nuumo Osabu, though the plaintiff refused to appear for the hearing the Registrar forwarded a CD form signed by the Nungua Mantse who is the chairman of the sitting and was backed by the President of the House, Nene Osudoku. This has left Nuumo Osabu Abbey to wonder which judgment served the basis for the gazette. He wonders how someone who the National House of Chiefs earlier ruled against can soon be granted gazette by the same House.

Nuumo Abbey also fingered the Registrar of the Greater Regional House of Chiefs Enoch Addo in what he described as a shady deal in getting Nene Tetteh Waka a gazette. According to him it was the same Registrar who served the hearing notice for 28th November but went ahead to verify his CD form for the gazette on 22nd November. Nuumo Osabu said a Symbol of Authority was supposed to be thrown to the next in line for the kingship by the Family Head of Kley Tsokunya, but the Head of Family was killed on 26th October in a meeting requested by the Prampram Traditional Council. He wonders who then threw the symbol of authority for the installation of Nene Tetteh Waka. He also indicated that the Makralo plays a key role in the installation of a Mantse at Prampram and since the Mankralo was also killed in a similar manner three years ago, he wonders which Mankralo aided the installation of Nene Tetteh Waka.

He said the said Nene Waka has never seen the black stool so cannot be a chief. Nuumo Osabu bemoaned the rather inaction on the part of such government installations as the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture and such personalities as  the Inspector General of Police, Speaker of Parliament, Vice President of the Republic  and the President himself who they have petitioned. He said the rather inaction is resulting in the serial killings and unrest at Prampram.

Leadership of the three gates has therefore appealed for assistance to end the unrest in Prampram. Find attached copies of the petition and the statement.

  • Celebrity Lifestyles And Mental Illness The Case Of Funny Face.

Celebrity Lifestyles And Mental Illness The Case Of Funny Face.

    Open Letter to Celebrities.

In Africa, for that matter Ghana, one’s lifestyle as a celebrity is centred on “Social media Likes, Comments and Shares” also, how they trend . In order to adapt to such social media norms, celebrities tend to engage in anything abnormal eg naked exposure of private parts, pranking, abuse of drugs, show off with one’s luxuries and how many sexual intercourse they have , how they slept with big men to gain or how many abortions they did etc.

Some even went to the extent of saying they slept with dogs just to get monies. How insane.

Excessive competition among celebrities, unrealistic ambitions , measuring achievement in numbers produced and dollars (monies) ,the need for me to win and trend more mentality has exposed many to Mental Illnesses.

There are many celebrities today who have outlived their usefulness but fighting hard to be in the media thereby engaging in all sorts of activities to trend . They get depressed, or abuse Psychoactive Substances and engage in unnecessary and uncouth social media banters with one another when not meeting their expected trends .

My professional advice to our celebrities though I am not a fan of any, that they should seek Mental Health and Psychological helps often if they want to succeed in their industry without involving in foolish stuffs .

Your Mental Health will go a long way to have positive impact on your career, and once you are in stable state of mind, you will survive long without being faded off within shortest possible time.

Use your fame, social media handles to encourage prioritisation of MENTAL HEALTH in the country so you can equally get best therapies when the need be.
Today it is Funny Face, Abena korkor and others, tommorow it can be you.

Don’t let your quest to be famous lead you into criminal stuffs that will rather destroy you.
Avoid abusing drugs and be yourself.
Self esteem and confidence is built not through substance uses but by continous practice and believing in oneself.
You can be a great celebrity, famous , achiever not by engaging in Anti-Social Activities ( Patterns of irresponsibility, disregards for rights of orders, vandalism, substance abuse, fist fights, verbal attacks, weapon use, cruelty , sexual aggression, recklessness etc ) just to seek immediately gratification.

I wish you all well in your careers that are decent and impact the nation positively not those that gives us negative influences.
