Dr. Kwame Owusu Fodjour, who happens to be the brain behind the Fake UN Awards has come out to clear the air about his Award Scheme.
Since yesterday, beneficiaries of the Award Scheme have been heavily trolled on social media for mot cross checking and falling victim to such a Fake Award Scheme not leaving the founder out.
The originator of the award Scheme due to the brouhaha has come out with a statement giving more clarification about the award Scheme as he tried to defend his work.
In the statement he made mention of the Award being awarded by the Blueprint Mission which was founded by former UN Secretary Kofi Annan and went ahead to state certain achievements by the organization.
Dr. Kwame Owusu Fodjour at the latter of his statement urged the media to conduct proper research and availed himself for further questions and scrutiny.
Influential hip hop rapper Sarkodie who has been trolled the most since the fake UN Award brouhaha hit the net has broken silence since the issue came up.
Sarkodie, Dblack, Berla Mundi and many other celebrities fell victim to the said fake UN Awards which has got many social media users trolling these celebrities with Sarkodie being the most trolled among them.
With this, a lot of people have been waiting to see the rapper’s reaction or response to this unfortunate incident hence paying closing attention to his social media pages.
Well, Sarkodie is yet to make a statement about this issue as his first post after the issue blew up is not even about the said fake UN Awards but rather a hype for a colleague and is going about his normal social media life like nothing has happened.
Ghanaian musician and business man Criss Kweku Waddle has been given a notice to appear before court.
The court notice isn’t a mere one but a subpoena, a writ ordering a person appear before court to testify or defend himself.
Failure to adhere to a court subpoena is contempt of court which comes with sanctions.
According to Criss Waddle, the case has to do with someone using a fake social media account impersonating him.
This fake account has apparently scammed the plaintiff. To Criss Waddle’s defence, his social media accounts are verified and the fake one used by an unknown person to scam isn’t verified.
“I can’t believe that I’ve been subpoenaed to court to answer to a judge over something that has nothing to do with me,If my page is verified and a none verified page does something,why should I be the one to be subpoenaed?”

The Award Scheme which was put together by one Mr. Fodjour saw a number of celebrities being awarded with the said UN awards but was later revealed to be fake.

A Nigerian woman has painted a gloomy picture about the famous Libya trips by revealing how she survived on faeces when she also embarked on that tortuous trip. The 24-year old lady identified as Omolara Akintayo narrated her sordid ordeal in a new video making rounds on the internet.
According to Omolara, while they were in the desert, some people lost their lives while others were forced to drink water mixed with faeces as there was no clean water and food. Omolara said two of her friends were raped in the desert during their trip to Libya.
She said: “Many things happened on our way. If I had heard about them before leaving Nigeria, I wouldn’t have travelled to Libya. Terrible things would have happened to those of us who survived if not for God.
When we got to Libya, I paid the person who took me there N600,000 in one year. This person was collecting my salary every month while I was doing all the work. I couldn’t eat there because I could not eat the food there.
Sometimes I would sleep by 2 am or 3 am because we had to wash plate in the Arab’s house. Sometimes we would wash their faeces, dress the elderly ones. There was nothing we did not do. Chores that I couldn’t do for my parents, I did them while I was there.”

Firebeand of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agypong has returned once again to throw his trademark brash persona in our face by alleging that former President John Dramani Mahama inflated the cost the Kasoa Interchange for personal gains.
According to the controversial Ghanaian lawmaker, the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress used the money to buy 350 land cruisers to bribe some Chiefs in Ghana ahead of the last elections in Ghana.
“They used the extra money from the inflated contract sum to buy 350 land cruisers and shared it amongst the Chiefs to deceive them for votes. We don’t need people like that who only think about what they will eat and not the destiny of future unborn generations,” he alleged on Kingdom FM.
Continuing, he said: “The Kasoa interchange alone built by the NDC cost us $270M but the auxiliary roads and hospitals they much talked about didn’t happen as promised. One of the contractors revealed to me that he was tasked by the NDC to inflate the cost of the Kasoa interchange over $40M.”
