KANESHIE POLYCLINIC EXPOSTULATE OVER ABANDONED BUILDING FOR 15 YEARS
The management of the kaneshie polyclinic has called on the government to complete a multipurpose building for the hospital, which has been abandoned for 15 years.
the building project was initiated in 2004 but stalled midway for lack of funds.
Dr. Amo Mensah told DFM reporter that, we have made every effort over the years but no action has been taken to complete the facility.
The uncompleted building has space for theaters, a dental unit, recovery wards, a consulting room, and eye and ear clinics. However, it has gathered dirt and garbage, paving a way for rodents.
It provides medical services for people from high places such as kaneshie, Awodome, Darkuman Akweteyman and surrounding. The comfort of patients is a problem, I believe when the building is complete and the theaters are operational, pressure in nearby facilities such as korle bu and the greater Accra regional hospital where patients referred will reduce
