    Nana Fi Agyemang II, the chief of Twifo Wamaso and also Kontihene of Ati-Morkwa traditional council in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district of the Central Region has praised the government for its vision to build 111 new regional and district hospitals across the length and breath of the country.

    Nana Fi Agyemang II stressed that, the agenda will save lives of human which is the most paramount hence, every well meaning Ghanaian must support the government to accomplish this juicy ambition.

    Nana appealed to President Akufo-Addo to also pay necessary attention to the existing health facilities particularly the CHPS compounds and equip them with the requisite logistics while preparing for the “Big Agenda 111”

    He finally called on the government to release the names of the MMDCEs quickly for development to take it cause in the various Assemblies.

    “If the President knows he can not appoint new MMDCEs so soon, then he should authorize the incumbents to fully assume duty, for instance my hardworking DCE Hon. Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi” he stated.

    AGENDA 111: Government Should Consider the Completion and Upgrading of Existing Hospitals Instead- Mr. Samuel Boateng

    The president of the republic, Nana Akuffo Addo recently cut sod for the commencement of the construction of 111 hospitals across the country which is titled Agenda 111 hospital projects.

    Reacting to this, Mr Samuel Boateng a political analyst has described the idea and the agenda as a brilliant one but government has to reconsider and complete the uncompleted hospital projects in the country and also upgrade the existing hospitals in the country which lacks the needed facilities for effective health care.

    Mr Samuel Boateng stated that, considering the country’s economy situation, it is better for government to apply scale of preference by constructing the new hospitals for the newly created six regions and some other Districts that may need the hospitals at all cost and upgrade the existing hospitals that lacks facilities for health care.

    He stressed that, the abandoned hospital projects that were in the stage of completion must also be attended to ensure that they are completed and well equiped for effective health care delivery.
