31 out of the 152 patients recover By Nana Yaw – March 31, 2020

The Minister of Health, Mr. Kwaku Agyeman Manu has disclosed that 31 out of the 152 confirmed patients in Ghana have recovered from the coronavirus.
This brings the recovery rate to 20.4% out of the total cases.

This is a piece of good news for us after some parts of the country had to lock down to curb the spread of the disease within the community.

On Saturday, March 28, President Nana Akufo-Addo announced a lockdown on the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area and the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area from 01:00 (local time) on Monday, March 30, due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi have been locked down from yesterday and it will last for the next two weeks.

In other news, one female out of the eight (8) Guineans who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Region, the youngest amongst them, has escaped from the Tamale quarantine facility. She left her belongings behind.
