  • SIX WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HANDS AND NAILS

SIX WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HANDS AND NAILS

While you may not pay as much attention to other parts of your body as you do your face, hair and waistline, your hands and nails are sometimes neglected.

Contrary to popular belief, the state of your hands and nails says a lot about you. People notice how they look like when you stretch out your hand to greet clients or even during or daily encounters with others.

Maintaining healthy hands and nails doesn’t always have to be stressful and time consuming. Quite the contrary!

There are many simple ways in which you can take care of them without spending too much time and money. Here are some.

    1. Moisturize

This is perhaps the most essential way to keep them healthy. Nails and hands naturally have some oil layer to protect them from bacteria and keep them moisturized.

    2.Get a manicure

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, getting a manicure should be part of your monthly self-care routine. Manicures are a great way to keep your hands and nails in top shape either at salons or at home. If you want a more pocket-friendly way, consider looking up tutorials on how to do simple manicures at home and buy your own tools.

    3. Protect your hands.

When doing chores, our hands often get in contact with corrosive cleaning chemicals that leave our hands feeling dry and our nails looking weak and brittle. It is therefore important to invest in good and durable gloves that will keep your hands protected as you carry out your usual chores.

    4. Hygiene

This is very essential when you want to maintain heathy nails and hands. Your hands gather a lot of dirt and bacteria on a daily basis. When you touch other parts of your body, say your face, or eat without washing your hands, you spread this dirt and bacteria leading to unpleasant skin rashes and other infections. As you shower, use a nail brush to remove the dirt that is lodged under the nails as a way to keep them clean and healthy.

  • UNIQUE WAYS TO GET THE GUY YOU LIKE..

UNIQUE WAYS TO GET THE GUY YOU LIKE..

You’ve tried it all. Playing hard to get, dressing like you’re ready to walk a runway in Milan, doing your makeup all fancy – but he still won’t notice you. That’s because guys usually don’t care what kind of jeans you’re wearing, or how “on fleek” your eyeliner is. They might think you look bomb, but that’s not going to seal the deal for longer than one night. If you want to really win him over, there are a few unique, lesser-known ways to get the guy of your dreams.

     1.Compliment Him

We all know how nice it is to be completely flattered by someone, so why wouldn’t you want to give your crush the same attention? If he looks hot in sweatpants or hats, let him know. Something as simple as “That shirt looks really nice on you,” or “Your hair looks good like that” could make his day. And if you’ve never even spoken to him before, complimenting him will put you on his radar. He now knows you and will recognize you the next time he sees you, all because you told him something nice. This step can be hard, so take it slow if you need to and approach it when the time is right.

    2. Be Passionate About What You Like

There’s nothing sexier than someone who knows what they’re talking about. Seriously – how hot would it be if your crush completely schooled you on something he’s interested in? Even if you know nothing about Rugby or how to operate a camera, as soon as your crush starts talking about it, you’re pulled in. It’s the same for guys. They want to hear you talk passionately about something, and especially if it brings conversation. Start talking about something you love, whether it’s your dog or your future career goals.

    3. Cool it with the  makeup

If you’re a MUA or a beauty fanatic, don’t change who you are for a guy. And if you just enjoy doing yourself up, keep doing you. However, if you find yourself putting a bunch of makeup on so your crush will notice you, maybe it’s time to just cover some spots and put on a bit of mascara and call it a day. Your natural beauty is important when it comes to attracting a guy. They won’t be paying attention to how well you blend your contour – they will be looking at your eyes and your smile. Trust me on this one.

    4.  Prosper In Your Own Life

You should always try and do this, but it’s also important when it comes to dating and attracting someone. If he sees that you’re having fun, getting great grades, and achieving your goals all on your own, he’s going to notice and be proud of you.

  • ‘I will always save My People: Prince Harry

‘I will always save My People: Prince Harry

The Duke of Sussex has insisted he will “always” protect his family, adding that he “will not be bullied into playing a game that killed my mum”.

Speaking in an ITV documentary, the duke said he did not want a “repeat of the past”.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex said her British friends warned her not to marry the prince due to media scrutiny.

The royal couple were interviewed by Tom Bradby during their tour of southern Africa in September.

Prince Harry, 35, was asked if he worried whether his wife may face the same pressures in the spotlight as his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, who died in a Paris car crash in 1997.

He said: “I will always protect my family, and now I have a family to protect.

“So everything that she (Diana) went through, and what happened to her, is incredibly important every single day, and that is not me being paranoid, that is just me not wanting a repeat of the past.”

Following recent newspaper reports of a rift between the Sussexes and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry said he and his brother, Prince William, have “good days” and “bad days”.

He added: “We are brothers. We will always be brothers.

“We are certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him as I know he will always be there for me.”

The prince later described his mental health and the way he deals with the pressures of his life as a matter of “constant management”.

He said: “I thought I was out of the woods and then suddenly it all came back, and this is something that I have to manage.

“Part of this job is putting on a brave face but, for me and my wife, there is a lot of stuff that hurts, especially when the majority of it is untrue.”

The Africa tour was Prince Harry, Meghan and their baby son Archie’s first official royal tour as a family.

The duchess, who married Prince Harry at Windsor Castle in May 2018 and gave birth to their son Archie this year, spoke about her experiences as a new royal since that marriage.

Central Market Kumasi : 54 shops damaged.

A dawn fire has swept through about 54 shops at the French Line section of the Kumasi Central Market, destroying properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis.

According to some victims, the fire started at about 2am on Sunday from one of the container shops and spread to other structures.

Items including empty sacks, cosmetic products as well as food ingredients were burnt in the fire.

Although the official cause of the fire is not yet known, affected shop owners are pointing to an electrical fault.

Firefighters were said to have had a hard time dousing the fire as they struggled to get access through the congested marketplace.

Some affected shop owners have already begun rebuilding their structures. Some of the  revealed.

“I sell empty sacks. As at when we heard of the news and got to the grounds, the fire was really serious. We weren’t allowed to go close because of how dangerous it was. By the time they quenched the fire, our shops had been burnt to ashes. We are appealing on government to support us financially to rebuild our shops,” a gentleman said.

“I was called around 1:30 am to rush to the market because my shop was on fire. This is the first time the market has been set on fire for the fifteen years that I’ve been working here. We can’t really tell what the cause is. I sell drinks and water. I had three fridges in there and one costs about 20million cedis,” another lady lamented.

Meanwhile, officials of the National Disaster Management Organization, NADMO have said they will collaborate with the fire officers to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.

Roland Oduro who is in charge of operations at the Manhyia South sub-metro for NADMO said: “we gathered about 54 shops were destroyed by this fire. It’s really bad that this thing has to happen at this time of the year. Per our investigations, we have two different causes. Some are saying power fluctuation; others are saying faulty metres. But we’ll collaborate with the Fire Service and get to know the real cause of the disaster.”
